ILTS Test Preparation Task Force

Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Task Force
Chair: DR. DAVID CONRAD
This workgroup is focused on implementing the Illinois Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leadership standards in leadership preparation programs. The group collaborates to prepare leaders to meet the needs of all learners.
CAEP Support Task Force
Chair: DR. MARY ZAHARIS
This group collaborates to supports programs engaged in national CAEP/SPA accreditation for building and district leadership. Illinois CAEP institutions include Concordia University Chicago, Eastern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Governors State University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Loyola University Chicago, National Louis University, and Northern Illinois University. The group maintains an email list of SPA contacts, provides support and technical advice, and meets as needed.
ICPEA Audit Committee
Chair: DR. BARBARA RIECKHOFF
Members include Dr. Curt Simonson and Dr. Barbara Rieckhoff. Conducts an annual review of the finances and membership.
Peer Review Committee
Interim Chair: DR. KIM SEKULICH ([email protected])
Members include Dr. Kim Sekulich, Dr. David Conrad, and Dr. Denise Glasgow.
Purpose: This group supports faculty in their tenure and promotion process. Committee members will serve as external peer reviewers, provide constructive feedback on articles for publication, and provide coaching and peer mentoring to support educational leadership faculty. Any member who needs a "critical friend" may contact the chairperson or any of the committee members for support.
Roles: Chair, Vice-Chair, Members
Responsibilities: Provide coaching and constructive feedback to ICPEA members who request assistance in one or more of the areas in the purpose statement. This is intended to be support and not a formal evaluation.
Procedure for Addressing Requests for Support:
Early career faculty are encouraged to join the national ICPEL and their Mentoring Mosaic program. Periodic meetings and discussion groups with nationally recognized leaders support early career professors.

- ICPEA member submits request for support to the chair of the Peer Review Committee.
- Chair will convene a meeting with the committee to review the request and assign committee member(s) to provide support as appropriate.
- Committee members will provide updates on the process to ensure a quality coaching experience.

Communication Committee
Chair: DR. DAVID CONRAD
Members include Dr. David Conrad and Dr. Kathleen King. This committee maintains the website at http://www.icpea.net and manages the membership mailing lists.
Collaboration Committee
Chair: DR. TERI MADL
Members include Dr. Dan Walsh, Dr. Teri Madl, and Dr. Christopher Dignam. This committee explores opportunities for ICPEA to partner with other organizations and stakeholders to support leadership preparation in Illinois.
Nominating Committee
Organized in the Fall of even-numbered years for Spring elections in odd-numbered years. The next Nominating Committee will form in Fall 2024 for elections in Spring 2025.
