This work is about preparing current and future school and district leaders to be focused on equity, academic quality, student well-being, and effective organizations. Today's educational leader is tasked with facilitating change, developing staff capacity, and building communities. This requires a strong system of preparation that coordinates with the state departments, professional associations, legislators and policy makers, parents and communities.
University preparation programs are the epicenter of this work and serve to not only advance leadership preparation standards and outcomes, but are on the leading edge of developing new and innovative ways of growing new leaders.
